Mike's new ride is a two tone teal and white 1960 Ford Falcon Wagon. As the fourth owner of this vehicle there is a story to relay. It was purchased off ebay in March and finally got to London mid April.
Ebay story... She was purchased in Ohio in '60 and was sold to a gentlemen in Del Mar, California to be a present for his son when he returned from service in Vietnam some time in '68. Well his son didn't return from service and the gentlemen garaged this car for the next 36 years. I have to let you know this car is in an original form with the 177c.straight 6 cyl engine & trans. The odometer only has 75,000 original miles on it. He did take care of the car and drove it every 6 months or so. The exterior paint was given a two tone paint job about 5 years ago. There are some small rust spots on the exterior, but no cancer or growth( expected for a beach community). All lights and turn signals are working. Exterior chrome is in great condition for a 45 year old car. Has original chrome hub caps also. Interior is amazing, no rips or tears in upholstery, small section with a little fade. All dash components work. All the glass is perfect, no blemishes. Rear window is manual, and works perfect. Has a new carpet kit and the original front floor mats are still in the car. The original registration is still on the steering column.
